TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET) -2017 (PRIMARY) FOR CLASSES I – V

Educational Qualification:

Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with 50% marks and Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
OR
Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with 50% marks and four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and having Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
OR
Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).

Note: 5% relaxation of marks in Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination 10+2 (i.e. 45%) will be allowed for the SC, ST, OBC (A,/B) PH exempted category, Ex-service and DH (Death -in – harness) category candidates.
Minimum academic qualifications mentioned above obtained after the date of this notification 09/10/2017 shall not be accepted.
As per Addendum released by West Bengal Board of Primary Education on dated 17.10.2017, the applicant who have appeared the final semester examination of Two Year D.Ed (Special Education) Course from RCI recognized institution on or before 09.10.2017 and the result is not yet published, shall also be eligible for appearing at the TET-2017

Examination Fee: 

Candidates must pay Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. See officially released advertisement for more details.
